The ever-elusive Lauryn Hill has announced a show at the Highline Ballroom with an intriguing opening act: Black Milk and his live band (Aaron “Ab” Abernathy, Malik Hunter, and Zeb Horton.) The downside is if you want to catch the show you’ll have to dish out $125 per ticket.
Black Milk is coming off of a US tour in February and March while Ms. Hill, who just turned 37 a few days ago, has continued playing infrequently with mixed reviews. Yet if one thing is for sure, it is that fans turn out to see Lauryn Hill perform. Though polarizing at times, she has the potential to awe crowds into disbelief and wonderment.
